‘Boost for jobs and industry’ as new site plans are revealed Posted On 26 March 2021

Chancerygate plan 15 units on development in Buckinghamshire

Business in the area is set to get a major boost with the news that a new industrial and warehousing site is set to be constructed in the county.

It is expected 15 units will be speculatively developed on almost nine acres of land, with new owners Chancerygate expected to submit a planning application to Buckinghamshire County Council in the second quarter of the year.

They say the site – on College Road North, which is next to the Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar dealerships on the Aston 41 scheme in Aston Clinton, will host units ranging from 4,370 square feet to 41,366 sq ft and will have “a gross development value of £25million”.

It will also have quick access to the A41 and Junction 20 on the M25.

Chancerygate, who have a base in Milton Keynes, bought the site off-market from Midwinter Property Services, who are based in Aston Clinton, for an undisclosed sum.

And Matthew Young, Chancerygate’s development manager, told The Bucks Herald: “We’re very pleased to complete the acquisition. It means we can now bring forward our plans to provide a speculative development that will deliver much-needed Grade A light industrial and warehousing accommodation for the area.

“The regional market for industrial property is buoyant and we’re seeing demand for our high-quality industrial space continue to rise.

“Our units will meet the requirements of a wide range of businesses in the area and provide a real boost for jobs and industry in and around Aston Clinton.”
